Welcome to FaceAge AI! This app uses artificial intelligence to estimate your age from photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Face Data and Photos

Here's what happens:

• Photos you select are processed temporarily in device memory only
• Facial analysis occurs entirely on your device
• Photos and facial data exist only during processing (2-3 seconds)
• All facial data is immediately deleted after age calculation
• We never have access to your photos or facial data
• No photos or facial data are sent to our servers or Face++ servers

1.2 Age Detection Results

If you choose to save results, only the following is stored locally on your device:

• Estimated age (numerical value only, e.g., "28 years old")
• Confidence scores (percentage)
• Date of detection
• Optional: The original photo IF you explicitly save it to your device gallery

All saved data remains on your device under your control. We do not have access to this data.

1.3 Device Information

For app functionality and improvement, we may collect:

• Device type and model
• iOS version
• App version
• Crash reports and error logs (anonymous)
• General usage statistics (anonymous)

This data does not include photos or facial information.

1.4 Advertising Data (AdMob)

To display ads and keep the app free, Google AdMob may collect:

• Anonymous device identifiers
• Ad interaction data
• Device advertising ID (IDFA) - only with your permission
• Approximate location data (country/region level)

You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

• Display relevant ads through Google AdMob

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

3.1 Face++ SDK (On-Device Processing)

Provider: Megvii Technology
Purpose: Age detection from photos
Privacy: All processing occurs locally on your device through the Face++ SDK. No photos or facial data are transmitted to Face++ servers or any external servers.

3.2 Google AdMob

Provider: Google LLC
Purpose: Display advertisements
Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to show relevant ads. You can control ad tracking through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

Local Storage Only:

• All data (photos, results, preferences) stays on your device
• We have no cloud storage or remote servers
• You control all data through iOS and app settings

Face Data Retention: ZERO

• Photos exist in memory only during processing (2-3 seconds)
• All facial analysis data is immediately discarded after calculation
• No persistent storage of any face data occurs

Delete Your Data:

• Clear saved results within the app
• Delete photos from your device gallery
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data

• All photo processing occurs on your device
• No transmission of photos or facial data
• App follows iOS security best practices
• Secure connections for non-photo data (ads, analytics)
• Data encrypted during any transmission
